Re: Youth and Agriculture
This is because, agriculture in kenya is very engaging interms of inputs. But when we come to output and net revenue is too low. Otherwise the confidence interval of breaking even using agriculture as a business is near if not far from zero.

Re: Youth and Agriculture
They think that agriculture is about digging. but it is a profession which can lead to career progression in soil sciences, agricultural economics, crop protection, horticulture, environmental management as well food sciences technology and nutrition. This can lead to research in agronomy, plant breeding and horticulture as well as food safety and security.

Re: Youth and Agriculture
In my opinion, youth are slowly embracing farming as an employment option. The key sectors include, dairy, horticulture, fruits and fish farming. Their main challenge is access to start-up capital and reliable labour source. Lets champion agriculture adoption by the youth for a food secure Kenya.
